HENNESSEE

Edna Sue Hennessee, age 63, of Altus, passed away early Saturday morning, August 3, 2013, at Plantation Village Nursing Center, in Altus.

Mrs. Hennessee was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on December 13, 1949, to William D. and Ethel V. (Harrison) Rodgers. A longtime homemaker, Sue was a member of the Lawton Church of God. Listening to Elvis Presley, playing cards, especially Skip-Bo and spending time with her family and friends was the way she enjoyed spending her pastime.

Preceded in death by her parents, Sue is survived by one son, Nolan D. Hennessee of Lawton and one daughter, Angela Hennessee of Oakland, California; one brother, William Jones of Altus; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at the Pecan Cemetery, southwest of Lawton with Ron Arnold officiating. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
