Edna Irene McCoard age 71, of Altus, Oklahoma died October 22, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. Edna was born September 11, 1896 in Killeen, Texas to Jim and Dealia (Elm) Ragsdale. She married David McCoard April 25, 1925 in Haskell, Texas. Edna had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1926.
Services for Edna Irene McCoard are scheduled for Tuesday, October 24, 1967 at 10:30 am in the Church of Christ, Altus, officiated by Bill Osborne. Burial will follow in the Olustee, Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Edna Irene McCoard is survived by her husband, David of Altus; one son David McCoard, of Midland, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Allen Sheehan, Olustee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Martin, Rochester, Texas; Mrs. Maude Carroll, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Kathy Kiefer, Rochester, Texas.
