Edna Ernestine Putnam died April 30th, 1967 at her Home in Hollis, Oklahoma. She was born July 28th, 1915 in Jestes, Oklahoma to E. H. and Edna (Peevey) Smith. Ernestine was married July 29 1935 to Ennis Putnam in Mangum, Oklahoma. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs Joe Pogorelc of Chicago, Illinois. Their daughter honored them with four grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Paul Kaufman of Olustee, Oklahoma.

Ernestine has been a resident of Jackson County since 1919 and was a member of the First Methodist Church, Hollis, Oklahoma.

Services for Edna Ernestine Putnam will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 2nd, 1967 at the Tims Chapel of Memories with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
