Eddie had attended the Altus School System, was a Protestant, and a lifelong resident of Altus and Jackson County.

Survivors include: his Mother and Father, Betty and Joe Mayrhofen of Altus, Oklahoma; his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Wayne Cain; two nephews, Travis and Kevin Cain; and one niece, Amber Newman.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 1998 at the Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
