Obituary for Earnest Gill
Mr. Earnest Hill, age 73, of 1315 W. Victory, Altus, died October 22, 1944 at the Altus House Nursing home. He was born February 22, 1904 and he was preceded in death by his wife Mamie Gill in 1936. He worked for Blonnie Rays for 26 years as a Cook & handy man.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 29th, 1977, at Tims Chapel of Memories with the Reverend Don Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Hill was a resident of Altus for the past 26 years and he belonged to the Church of God & Christ.

Survivors include: one brother, Lee Gile of Orange, Texas; half-brother, Willy Oliver of Stockton, CA; and a step-sister, Maybelle Haley of El Paso, TX.
