Earl Ernest DeGreek, age 48, of Eldorado, passed away late Thursday evening, January 12, 2017, at his residence, in Eldorado.
Mr. DeGreek was born in Fremont, California on March 7, 1968, to James Christian and Delores Geraldine (Childs) DeGreek. Growing up and going to school in California, Earl became a diesel mechanic and practiced that trade nearly all of his life. In 2011, he moved to Missouri, from California, to be near his siblings, because of declining health. In 2015, he moved to Eldorado, where he lived until his death.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Alicia Leon of Hayward, California; one granddaughter, Sophia Leon; two sisters, Teresa Moore and husband Ralph of Eldorado and Ruth Pollard and husband Larry of Springfield, Missouri; one brother, James Christian DeGreek, Jr. and his wife Debbie of St. Marie, Montana along with many other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Earl"s wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Eldorado and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
