Obituary for Earl Brundige
Earl Brundige, long time resident of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away on June 14, 2021, in Liberty, Missouri. Earl was born on October 14, 1925, in Mangum, Oklahoma to George and Susie (Clancy) Brundige. He graduated high school from Mangum and went on to serve in the United States Army. Earl served his country during World War II and the Korean War. Once back from serving his country, Earl went to work at the Gold Star Creamery in Mangum. After his time at the creamery, Earl went on to work at the Republic Gypsum in Duke, Oklahoma. He worked there until his retirement. Earl loved dogs, as well as taking walks, and was known to be seen around town dumpster diving. His favorite baseball team was the Chicago Cubs. He was selfless man and was always willing to help anyone. Earl was a caring and loving son to his Mom, Susie whom he loved very much.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Brothers, Raymond Brundige, Bill Brundige, Andrew Brundige and Jerry Brundige; Sisters, Betty Sue Brundige and Peggy Kimmons;
Left to honor his memory is his daughter, Nancy Elliot; Sisters, Virginia Zinn and Judy Niblo and husband Hank; Grandchildren, Kevin Elliott and Donny Elliott; Great Grandchildren, Jaci Ledford, Isaac Elliott, Jalie Mesenhelger, Jake Elliott, Joshua and Ava; Great Great Grandchildren, Hannah Messenhelger and Braxton Messenhelger; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
