Obituary for Douglas Edward Brownlow
Douglas Edward Brownlow, age 59, of 311 East Pecan, died Wednesday morning at Park View Hospital in El Reno following a long illness.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the Eldorado First Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will be in Gould Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born January 18th, 1921 in Eldorado, he was married in 1959 to the former Ella Mae Acord who survives of the home. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University, then served three years with the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1949 he was graduated from Oklahoma University with a Pharmacy Degree. He worked in Oklahoma City, moving to Kansas City in 1951 and retired there as a Pharmacist due to failing health. He and his wife moved to Altus in 1974. He was a registered Pharmacist in the states of Missouri and Oklahoma, a member of the Baptist Church and a member of Post #44 American Legion in Altus.

Survivors in addition to his wife include: two sisters, Mrs. Jacque Harman of El Reno and Mrs. Eva Louise McCafferty of San Francisco, CA.
