Obituary for Dorthula McKinley
Dorthula McKinley age 90 of Altus, Oklahoma died November 14, 1965 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. She was born February 5, 1875 in Blueridge Mountain, Mississippi to Matthew Marion and Mary Jane (Street) Welch. She moved to Oklahoma in 1900 and married Everett McKinley, he preceded her in death May 1948. She was active in church work, and the Rebecca Lodge # 75.

Funeral services for Dorthula McKinley are scheduled for November 16, 1965 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel officiated by Dr. Lee Bowles. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Chapel.

Dorthula McKinley is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Southwick, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Walter Cross, Altus, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
