Obituary for Dorothy Rice
Dorothy Marshall Rice was born September 14th, 1935 in Altus, Oklahoma. She died August 9th, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. She was the daughter of John and Vozzie Marshall. She married Bruce Rice August 27, 1950 at Indiahoma, OK. She was a life long resident of Jackson County. She was a longtime member of the Duke Methodist Church.
Services are scheduled for 10 A.M. Friday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ginny Hathaway officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: her husband,. Bruce Rice of the home in Duke, OK; four children,Gary Rice and wife Linda of Piedmont, OK, Randy Rice and wife Janel of Idabell, OK, Dean Rice of Frederick, OK and Victor Rice of Mentone, IN; one brother, Lynn Marshall of Sullivan, MO; three sisters, Reba Duncan of Granite, OK, Imogene Pike and Treva Alexander of Altus, OK; six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, Leonard Marshall.
