Doris Marie Searle 65, passed away Monday, January 23, 1995 in Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born December 31, 1929 in DeKalb, Texas, the daughter of the late Bonnie and Lois Stout Blocker. She was a graduate from Pampa, Texas High School. Doris maried Ernie Searle on March 29, 1946 in Pampa, Texas. They moved to Altus in 1970.
Doris was a very giving person who loved her family very deeply.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
She is survived by Ernie, her husband of 48 years; five children, Ti Ann Taylor of Vernon, Texas; Celia Powers of Scotts Hill, Tennessee; Bunnie Chapman Doyle of Fairbands, Arkansas; Suzette Crim of Arlington, Texas; and Gleen Searle of Pampa, Texas; one a brother, Roger Blocker of Altus; one sister, Helen Payne of Sugarland, Texas; fourteen grandchildren.
