NALLEY
Doris Marie Nalley, age 83, of Tulsa and formerly of Greer County, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 12, 2016, at a Tulsa Nursing Home.
Mrs. Nalley was born in Russell, Oklahoma on June 11, 1933, to Jefferson P. and Florence (Davis) Boone. Moving to Mangum at a young age, she grew up and attended school in Mangum. In the mid 1950’s Doris moved to California and Married James Nalley. In the late 60’s she returned to Greer County where she lived until the mid 1970’s, when she moved to Tulsa to be near her niece and her family. Doris was a strong Christian woman who loved her Lord and was always involved in her church.
Preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gene Boone, Bud Boone and Emit Boone and three sisters, Geneva Wootten, Alma Mae Stowe and Babe Josephine Snow; she is survived by one brother B.C. Boone of Palmdale, California and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Doris Nalley will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Greer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Weber officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home, of Mangum.
