Dora Faye Hall, age 89, of Mangum, passed away late Wednesday evening, April 7, 2010, at Quartz Mountain Medical Center in Mangum.
Mrs. Hall was born on August 16, 1920, in Vinson, Oklahoma to Ernest and Mattie Opal (Stalling) Ownbey. In 1939, she married Flavis Moore and they moved to California where they spent the next fifty-four years. After Flavis" death, she married Mark Hall on April 7, 1996, in Tucson, Arizona and they moved back to Mangum a short time later, where they retired.
Preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one sister and two brothers, she is survived by two daughters, Janie Fay Lannigan of Eureka, South Dakota and Shirley Kaye Levis and husband George of Lead Hill, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Kimberly Lenders and Kari Fisher; two great grandchildren, Ryan Hellman and Crissy Hellman; four sisters, Florence Hogan of Mesquite, Texas, Ernestine Craig of Mesquite, Texas, Mary Wolberton of Lawton, Oklahoma and Imogene Williams of Santa Fe, New Mexico along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Dora Hall will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Greer Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Todd officiating. Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
