Obituary for Donna "Sunshine" Coble
Donna "Sunshine" Coble, age 67 of Duncan, Oklahoma and formerly of Mangum, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Donna was born in Plainview, Texas on November 16, 1953 to her parents Dub Parnell and Ruth (Sewell) Miller. Donna married Dennis Coble, Sr. on December 25, 2007 at the family home in Altus. Donna and Dennis, Sr. lived in Altus until moving to Pampa, Texas where they resided until 2009 and they most recently resided in Duncan, Oklahoma. Donna enjoyed fishing and camping, taking care of her dogs, and keeping up with her doll collection. Donna loved her family very much and she treasured spending time with all of her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Dub Parnell and Ruth Miller; her sister, Tammy Long; two grandchildren Damien Charles Bailey; and Kirstin Sandefur; and her uncle, Herold Turner.
Donna is survived by her husband Dennis Coble, Sr. of their home in Duncan; three sons, Jamie Roberts; Dennis Ray Coble, Jr. and wife Mindy of Altus; and Tony Leamon and wife JoAnn of Mangum; five daughters, Christy Lankford Wilhite and husband Gail of Cordell; Anita Sandefur and husband Charlie of Madill, Oklahoma; Virginia Coble of Duncan; Katherine Crown and husband Dale of Mangum; and April Larson of Washington; two brothers, Danny Parnell and wife Cindy of Missouri; and Davie Parnell and wife Lanette; twenty-one grandchildren, Myah, Dathyn, Angel, and Ava; Travis, Dustin, and Lexi; Wesley, Melissa, and Apple; Zachary, Colby, and Colton; Mikiah and Alora; James, Daniel, and William; Nicoli, Nathaniel, and Marshal "Mo"; numerous great grandchildren; special cousins, Wayne Turner and wife Sandra; and Connie Cook and husband Bob; her best friend, Chloe Lewis; as well as numerous other family members and many friends.
Viewing will be from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Greer Funeral Home in Mangum, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Greer Funeral Home in Mangum with Brother Oliver White officiating.
