Obituary for Dock Blackwell
Graveside services will be held for Dock Blackwell, age 81, of Headrick, OK, at Navajoe Cemetery Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. with the Rev. C. C. Gober officiating.
Mr. Blackwell was the son of the late Starling and Martha Blackwell and was born February 25, 1904 at Boles, Arkansas. He was a long time resident of Headrick where he did mechanic work until his forced retirement due to failing health.
Survivors include: his wife, Estell Blackwell of Snyder, OK; two sons, Curtis Blackwell of Tulsa, OK and William Thomas Blackwell of Pampa, TX; six daughters, Thelma Ray Chesser of Oklahoma City, Lottie Lance of Pampa, TX, Drath Knight of Headrick, Lillie Lawson of Bokchito, OK, Virginia Easley of Pampa, TX and Linda Myers of Borger, TX; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are with Lowell Funeral Home.
