Obituary for Densel Robert Myers
Densel Robert Myers was born December 29th, 1924 at Healdton, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Robert F. and Hannah D. (Arrington) Myers. He died September 19, 1996 at the Comanche Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a longtime resident of Eldorado and Jackson County having resided here since 1928. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he served overseas in Germany. He farmed in the Eldorado community until he retired.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 22, 1996 at the Eldorado Church of Christ with Tom Bennett officiating. Interment will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include: one daughter, Cristy Stiles of Rock Hill, SC; three step-children, Joneva Flowers of Kansas, Patricia Borchert of South Carolina and Tommy Black of Kansas; a brother, Harold Dean Myers of Vancouver, WA; two sisters, Dora Beth Freeman of Garland, TX and Lorene Bennett of Edmond, OK; three grandchildren, Crystal Shannon, Eric Shannon and Matthew Stiles.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; a sister, Lavyrl Parks; a brother, Dale W. Myers.
