Obituary for De' Ago Edwards
De 'Ago J. Edwards 16, Altus resident, passed from this life on Saturday June 18, 2022 in Altus. Arrangements have been made with the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home & Crematory.
De' Ago Ja' Von Edwards was born on August 15, 2005 in Altus, Oklahoma to Charlitha Edwards and Robert Rodriguez. He grew up in Altus and recently completed his sophomore year at Altus High School. De 'Ago was active in basketball and football from junior high through high school. He was also a member of the Loud City Ballers and several other city league basketball teams.
In his spare time, De'Ago enjoyed hanging out with friends, listening to music, playing video games and eating cereal, but most of all, he valued spending time with his family. He loved being a big brother and always made time to play and hang out with his younger siblings teaching them basketball skills and mentoring them in the ways of life. Very mature for his age, De'Ago always listened to his friends' problems and advised them on the best way to handle the situation. He was the kind of friend that most people dream of having.
De'Ago was extremely outgoing and full of life. He was looking forward to graduating and getting his driver's license. De'Ago believed in the awesome power of prayer and participated in the youth activities at Strong Tower Ministries. His kindness, respectfulness, and sweet spirit will forever be remembered by the many lives he affected in his community.
