Daniel was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on September 30, 1954, to Edward and Judith Archbold. He was one of six children. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors in Business.

On March 20th, 1983, he married the love of his life, Jaemie Denise Huff, in Pasadena, California. They would have celebrated their 30th anniversary on the 20th of this month.

He worked civil service for the Department of Defense for over 20 years and also as a manager at McDonald's for the last 15 years. He was a member of United Church of God in Lawton, Oklahoma. Arch enjoyed swimming, being outdoors, working out, talking to everyone, playing games with his family, eating all his food and your food if allowed, and ending his day soaking in the hot tub.
