Obituary for Daniel Ruben Studer
Daniel Rubin Studer, 78, resident of Mangum, Oklahoma, returned to his heavenly home on Monday, June 22, 2020, peacefully in his earthly home in Mangum, Oklahoma. Dan was born January 06, 1942, in Wayne County, Ohio, to Harvey and Zulma Marguerite (Minouflett) Studer. Working was a big part of Dan's identity; he worked for over fifty years for the National Sprinkler's Union, installing fire suppressant sprinklers in high rise office and apartment buildings in Cleveland, Ohio, San Francisco, California, Denver, Colorado, Texas, and Oklahoma. To say Dan was a perfectionist would be an understatement. Whether it was installing pipes, woodworking, installing new gadgets on his pickup, or even hanging blinds the job wasn't done until it was perfect. Dan took pride in everything he did to him, it was a matter of pride, always to do his best and try his hardest. After Dan retired from pipe fitting, he took up woodworking, he worked and learned until his carpentry became that of a master carpenter. Dan was an immensely proud Christian and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If someone were new to church, Dan would be the first to introduce himself and make them feel as if they were among family. While attending his brother's church, The Church of God in Mangum, Oklahoma, he met Earlene Choate. The two were united in marriage on June 6, 2004, at the Church of God in Mangum, Oklahoma, Dan's brother Sam Studer officiated the wedding. In true Dan form, he built the baptismal pool before he was baptized in it. Of all his accomplishments, he was most proud of his wife and family. Dan was a hardworking family man, who cared for everyone and would do anything to help a friend or stranger; he truly was a man of God.
Left to honor Dan's memory is his wife Earlene of the home; Two sons, Daniel and wife Dawn Studer of Zanesville, Ohio, Bryan and wife Robyn Studer of Lodi, Ohio; Step-sons, James and wife Kathy Choate of Magnum, Oklahoma, Don-Ed and Brent Choate; Grandchildren, Misty and husband Kenny, Stanford, Dakota and wife Kristy Studer and Montanna and husband Chuck Bubenhiem; Great-grandchildren, Marissa and Serena Butler, Owen Stanford, Myah Bullock, Maliyha Dovenbarger, Lucas & Dominic Harris, Bentley Studer, Gracyn Studer, and Blake Bubenhiem, Siblings, Marie Craft Campbell, Harvey Studer, David Studer, Joseph Studer, and Samuel Studer; The mother of his children, Linda Graffice.
He was greeted at Heaven's gates by an infant son, Donald Studer; his parents Harvey and Zulma Studer; siblings, Helen Simpson, Martin Studer, Frank Studer, John Studer, Paul Studer; grandson, Brad Boyer; his second wife, Callie Studer who passed in 2003. Dan will be greatly missed and loved by many who knew and loved him.
