Obituary for Daniel Noble Wax
Vigil Services for Daniel Noble Wax, 77, of Altus, are scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 7, 1994, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 1994, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Rose Cemetery in Hobart under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Father Tim Luschen will officiate.
Mr. Wax passed away November 5th, 1994 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was born October 18th, 1917 in Sherman, Texas to Charles E. and Ethel (Gurley) Wax. Mr. Wax married Christine Eula Braun of Hobart, OK, on October 17, 1942 in Santa Ana, CA. Mr. Wax was retired from Civil Service, was retired from the Air Force Reserves where he had attained the rank of SMSgt, and was an owner of a used car lot. Mr. Wax was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Hobart American Legion.
Survivors include: his wife, Christine Wax of the home; three children, Gary Wax and wife Tana of Midwest City, OK, Dan Wax and wife Barbara of Grand Prairie, TX and Phillip Wax of Pauls Valley, OK; one brother, Delbert Wax of Gillham, AR; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; four brothers, Omar, Weldon, Carl and Howard Wax; one sister, Gladys Pinkerton.
