Altus. He was born December 24, 1898 in Buffolo Springs, Texas to James L. and Martha E. (Slate) Boone. He married Bernice Bost November 12, 1921 in Petrolia, Texas. He had been a resident of Altus for the past 21 years.
Funeral services for Daniel L. Boone are scheduled for August 8, 1996 at 10:00 am at the Trinity Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Petrolia Cemetery, Petrolia, Texas, under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Daniel L. Boone is survived by his wife Bernice of the home in Altus; three sons, William Boone, Altus, Oklahoma; John Boone, Altus, Oklahoma; Paul Douglas Boone, Altus, Oklahoma.
