Curtis Wesley Williams, age 65 of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 in Altus.
He was born November 27, 1942, in Altus, Oklahoma to Albert W. and Theo (Stephens) Williams.
In January of 1960, Curtis entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1970. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 487.
Curtis had worked as manager for Western Freight and later worked for H&H Motors for several years before he retired.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by one son, Curtis Williams, Jr. of Altus, Oklahoma; one daughter, Elizabeth Dorr and husband Tyler of Groveton, New Hampshire; one brother, Roy Williams and wife Pat of McQueeney, Texas; two sisters, Linda Gensman of Altus, Oklahoma, and Judy Pinkley and husband Ed of Altus, Oklahoma; aunts and uncles, Melvin and Joyce Bates of Altus, Oklahoma, Bob and Sue Harris of Altus, Oklahoma, Jimmy and Dorothy Teague of Amarillo, Texas and Jerry and Virginia Stephens of Gould, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Krasila Dorr, Brandun Dorr and Harley Dorr of Groveton, New Hampshire.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Theo and Albert Williams.
