Obituary for Curtis O. Hawkins
Curtis O. Hawkins age 73, of Altus, Oklahoma died April 12, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. Curtis was born June 7, 1908 at Prairie Hill, Oklahoma to P. A. and Mattie Hawkins. He married Maurine Hamilton March 1, 1928 in Altus. Curtis farmed in the Martha area all of his life.
Funeral services for Curtis O. Hawkins are scheduled for Wednesday, April 14, 1982 at 2:00 pm in the First Methodist Church, Martha, Oklahoma, officiated by Bill Moss and Rev. Keith Wiginton.
Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Curtis O. Hawkins is survived by his wife, Maurine of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Patsy) turner, Lubbock, Texas; two granddaughters, Mrs. Joel (Vici) Beesinger; Mrs Jim (Darla) Douglas two great grandsons; two brothers, Arthur Hawkins, Altus, Oklahoma; Virgil Hawkins, Clovis New Mexico; he was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Hawkins and one sister, Allie Grace Bentley.
