Obituary for Cody Clay Powell
Cody Clay Powell, 33, resident of Blair, Oklahoma passed away February 15, 2020. Cody was born August 19th, 1986 at Comanche County Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma to Clay and Deanie Powell. He was raised and educated in Blair, Oklahoma. Cody had a passion for motocross and competed in freestyle motocross winning numerous awards and trophies. He was working for his Uncle Brett Powell at Powell Truck sales. Cody enjoyed riding his dirt bike and doing freestyle tricks, hunting with his brother and cousins, drawing pictures, playing the guitar, listening to music and playing pool, but most of he enjoyed spending time with his family and daughter Riley. Of all his trophies and awards he was most proud of his daughter Riley.
He is survived by his father; Clay Powell, mother; Deanie Powell, daughter; Riley Jean Powell, brother Wade Powell and wife Ali Jo, Grandparents Imogene Cargal and LaVern Powell, aunt; Sharon and husband Robby, Uncles; Jud and wife Dawn, Brett, Daryl, Aunt; Kristi and husband Quinton, the mother of his daughter; Amanda Waldroop, girlfriend of seven years, Dani Mecole, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and countless friends.
Open Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Blair Cemetery, Blair, Oklahoma.
