Claris L. Craft pioneer resident of Prairie Hill passed away at Sulphur Louisiana; wife of Elmer Craft, they were married June 3 1926 and he died June 1 1972. Born November11, 1902 at the late pioneer parents Peter and Kari Love of Prairie Hill. Claris moved to Jackson County in 1907.

Claris is survived by three sons, Elmer Craft, Altus, Oklahoma; Lester Craft, Ada, Oklahoma; Harold Craft Lakewood, Colorado; daughter Louise Haney, Sulphur Louisiana; a sister Gertrude Have, Altus, Oklahoma; a brother, Sig Hove, Altus, Oklahoma.
