Obituary for Charles Todd Rice
Charles "Todd" Rice, age 33 of Altus, passed away June 27, 2001. Todd was born June 4, 1968 in Irving, Texas to parents Don and Gayle rice. At a young age, the family moved to the Altus Area, where Todd grew up and graduated high school in 1986. After high School, he served for five years in the United States Marine Corps, traveling to Hawaii, Japan and many other places. He was very proud of his service. Todd was an accomplished pilot, enjoyed skydiving, skiing and reading. He was also a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Todd will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri of Dennison, Texas; one step-daughter, Britney of Denison, Texas; his father, Don Rice and wife Diana of Altus, Oklahoma; his mother, Gayle Konkol of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother Bryan Rice of Altus, Oklahoma; aunt and uncle, Lana and Jim Butler and their daughter Lindsay of Toole, Utah; aunt and uncle, Joan and Bill Brown; his grandmother Frankie Bailey of Lawton, Oklahoma; and grandparents Dan and Rama Butler of Nocona, Texas. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles "Dobber" Rice and Ausby Rice; and grandfather James C. Bailey.

Services are scheduled for 11:00am Saturday at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel,
rev. Keith Wiginton will officiate. Interment is to follow at the Blair Cemetery.
