Bruce Lynn Weber, age 64, of Ft. Worth, formerly of Olustee, passed away late Thursday evening, May 22, 2014, at Marine Creek Nursing Home, in Ft. Worth, Texas
Mr. Weber was born in Altus, Oklahoma on January 28, 1950, to J.P. and Lena Mae (Kendricks) Weber. Living in Olustee, Bruce attended Olustee School and On July 19, 1974, married the love of his life, Sharon Kay Ramsey. She preceded him in death on August 12, 2011, after thirty-seven wonderful years of marriage. Living in Olustee all of his life Bruce began a career in the grocery industry, working for United, Safeway and Homeland before retiring due to declining health. After Sharon"s death, Bruce moved to Mustang, Oklahoma for a short time and later to Ft. Worth, Texas. In his spare time, Bruce loved to fish and be with his children and grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers, Eugene Weber and Kenneth Weber; one sister, Wanda Roberts; two grandchildren, William Tice Weber and Katlynn Paige Weber and two nephews, Lindle Weber and David Weber, he is survived by two children, William Porter Weber and wife Sheila of Mustang, Oklahoma and Shaunna Thomas and husband Justin of Ft. Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren, Chelsey Weber, Lauren Weber, Emilee Weber, Tyler Weber, Meghan Weber, Aiden Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Aaron Thomas and Anna Thomas; one sister, Gerry Thompson and husband Joe of Altus; one brother, Larry Weber and wife Yolanda of La Quinta, California; eleven nieces and nephews, Jackie Kenmore, Randy Weber, Doug Alexander, Don Alexander, Jerry Alexander Gary Weber, Keith Kirby, Beverly Jackson, Tammy Hughes, Dallas Weber and Lory Weber along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Bruce Weber will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the Olustee Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Pack officiating. Interment will be in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
The family will greet friends at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, from 6 until 7 p.m.
