Obituary for Brenda Tamez
Brenda J. Tamez, age 46, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2004 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus, Oklahoma.
Brenda was born August 1, 1957 in Shreveport, LA, to Andrew J. and Annie M. Hall.
She moved to Altus in 1966 and attended Altus Public Schools. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and being with her family.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Annie M. Hall and two sisters, Paula M. Hall and Tiara L. Hall.
She is survived by her son Darryl Allen Tamez of Altus, Oklahoma, currently serving his country in Iraq and granddaughter Riley whom she loved dearly; her father and step-mother Andrew J. and Rosalyn Hall of Altus, Oklahoma; five sisters, Margaret Shaw of Moore, Oklahoma, Patsy Brown of Edmond, Oklahoma, Sondra Webb and husband Thomas of El Reno, Oklahoma,
Shenetta Roblez and husband Daniel of Altus, Oklahoma, and Kathy Hall of Altus, Oklahoma; one brother, Terry Hall and wife Cassey of Altus, Oklahoma; one step-brother, Jeremy Harris of Wichita Falls, Texas; one step-sister, Erica Harris of Houston, Texas; grandmothers, Olivia Coleman of Keithville, LA and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 2:00 p.m., at Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev Marty Barnes of Highland Heights United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
