Obituary for Branson Jerry Grimes
Branson Jerry Grimes age 89 of Elmer, Oklahoma died August 14, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. He was born March 19, 1878 in Lamar County, Texas to Thomas and Sandra (Hopkins) Grimes. He married Nettie Harriett Beach January 20, 1904. She preceded him in death March 24, 1960. He had been a resident of Elmer, Oklahoma all of his life living in the same home for 61 years.

Funeral services for Branson Jerry Grimes are scheduled for August 16, 1967 at 2:00 pm in the Methodist Church in Elmer, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Jess Marlin. Burial will follow in the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Branson Jerry Grimes is survived by one son, Carl b. Grimes, Elmer, Oklahoma; one grandson; Carlton Grimes, Elmer, Oklahoma.
