Borden Clay Walker age 89 passed away Sunday, January 16th, 2000 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was born March 5th, 1910 in Altus, Oklahoma to Anna Walker. Borden was a lifelong resident of Altus. He worked as a general laborer in Altus for many years before retired. He was a devoted husband of the Late Ila Grace Walker.

He is survived by a step-daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Doug Smith of Michigan. Step-grandchildren, Mark DeForrest of Altus, Oklahoma; Elizabeth Clapp, Lansing, Michigan; Mike Smith of Detroit, Michigan; Sarah Smith of Three Rivers, Michigan and a host of great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Walker, one step-son John DeForrest.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Friday, January 21, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at the Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
