Obituary for Bobby Gerald Land
In the loving arms of his wife of 70 years, Bobby Gerald Land passed away on Wednesday, December 22.
Born on May 10, 1928 in Oklahoma City, Bobby led a full life of service to his family, his country and his community.
After a meritorious life of service in both the Navy and the Air Force, Bobby retired to live with his wife, Delorese Land in Altus, OK.
Bobby is survived by his beloved wife, Delorese Land. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Marielle Land Howard, Christopher Land and Tyler Land three great children, Kaitlyn Land, Jordan Land and Hunter Howard.
Bobby is preceded in death by he and Delorese's precious sons, Philip Kent Land and Bobby Gregory Land.
Services to honor Bobby's life, love and service will take place at the Altus Cemetery Chapel at 2400 Falcon Road, Altus OK, 73521 at 2:30pm Monday, December 26 with Pastor Doug Altom officiating. All those who knew and loved Bobby are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association of Oklahoma to help in the fight against the disease that took Bobby’s life at www.alz.org/Oklahoma
Military Honors will by rendered by the United States Air Force, Altus Air Force Base Honors Detail.
