Obituary for Billy Gean Capehart
Billy Gean Capehart, age 60, died July 1st, 1996 at home in the Friendship area near Altus, Oklahoma. Services are scheduled for Friday, July 5, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Blair with Reverend Madison Clinton and Rev. Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
He was born September 1st, 1935 to James and Leona (Henry) Capehart. He has lived in the Jackson County area for 35 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Earlene of the home; a daughter, Liza Bennett and her husband Dennis and their two daughters, Amber and Emily, also of the home; a son, Dewayne Garner of Altus, Oklahoma and his son Cody; a sister, Ethel Hood of Altus and her daughter Debrah Manasco; a step-son, Travis and his wife Angie and son Jerod of Gilmer, TX; a sister, Ola Monks of Altus; a sister, Rachael Phillips and her husband Dale of Ft. Worth, TX; a brother, Bobby Capehart and his wife Edna of Mangum, OK; a sister, Shirley Thompson and her husband Joe Thompson of Mangum; Also many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1960; his mother in 1992; and four brothers.
Contributions can be made to Jackson County Memorial Hospital Hospice.
