Billy Donald Crawford, age 83, of Duke, passed away, Friday morning, June 30, 2017, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus.

Mr. Crawford was born in Ames, OK, on June 19, 1934, to Thomas Lester and Earnestine Lorraine (Shook) Crawford. A graduate of Ames High School, Bill married Barbara Ann Pierson on August 7, 1955 and she preceded him in death on June 27, 2002. A member of the United States Army Reserve, Bill served his country in Viet Nam and a number of other assignments. Bill was awarded many medals for his service. An agriculture loan and investment officer for over thirty years with Prudential Agriculture Investments, Bill and his family lived in several different locations due to his job. Retiring in 1996, Bill and Barbara resided in Memphis, Tennessee for several years, with Bill moving to Duke after Barbara"s death. In June of 2004, Bill married Patsy (Garrison) Leverett and they made their home in Duke. Pat preceded Bill in death on December 22, 2016, and he continued to make his home in Duke, until his death.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Earnestine Crawford; two wives, Barbara and Pat; two brothers, Dean Crawford and Jimmy Crawford and two sisters, Hazel Schwind and Edith Ann Moler. Survivors include his children Donita and Harold Gene Milner, Connie Osmus, and Todd Crawford and partner Jimmy; grandchildren Jason and Michelle Milner, Josh Milner, Jenna and Cameron Walterscheid, Kyle Osmus, Adrianne and Hank Phillips, DeLeigh and Justin Hodge, Nicholas Osmus; great grandchildren Gage Milner, Grant Milner, Cameron Milner, Case Walterscheid, Canyon Walterscheid, Maggie Osmus, Adyson Hodge, Jaxon Hodge and Twilla Jo Hodge; two sisters, Twilla Nusz and Caroline Clester and two brothers, Teddy Crawford and Bobby Crawford.

He was blessed to share life with his extended family; children Stephen Leverett and wife Charlotte of Justin, Texas; ReGina Farquhar and husband Bruce of Altus, Mike Leverett of Lexington, Oklahoma; grandchildren Jacob Farquhar, Jordan Leverett, Heather Leverett, Dylan Leverett, Logan Leverett, Morgan Leverett; great grandchildren Colton Leverett, Owen Leverett, Oliver Leverett and Carson Leverett; a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Bill Crawford will be at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Duke with Brother Ralph Chapman and Brother David Wilson officiating. Interment will be at 4 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the Del Norte Cemetery, near Drummond, Oklahoma.

The family will greet friends at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, July 5, 2017, from 7 until 8:30 p.m.

Mr. Crawford will lie in state at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m.
