Obituary for Betty Jo Weaver
Betty Jo Weaver, 70, of Altus, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, October 30, 2010. She was, as she wanted, surrounded by her loving husband and children at her home.

Betty Jo leaves her beloved husband of 54 years, her two daughters, Pamela Jean Buonanoma of Denair, California, and Teresa Garrett of Altus, Oklahoma, and one, Homer Stephen Weaver of Altus, Oklahoma.

Betty Jo was born October 27, 1940, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Her husband Jesse was also born in Oklahoma. Their respective families moved to California where Jesse and Betty Met. Betty and Jesse were married December 28, 1956, in Reno, Nevada. They raised their own family in California. Betty Jo lived for her family and for her God. She was the adoptive mother of many kids. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Kenneth Schendel of Turlock, California, Ben Alvers of South Dakota, Chanel Weaver of Santa Cruz, California, Kristy Giraldi of Altus, Oklahoma, and Jessicia Garrett of Duke, Oklahoma. She also leaves her pride and joy, Katlyn and Mia of Altus, her two great-granddaughters.

Betty Jo was preceded in death by her son, Gary Ray, and parents, Homer and Helen Grayson, and her best friend, her sister, Peggy Ann. She will be so very missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to JCMH Hospice, 1204 E. Tamarack Road, Altus, Ok 73521. The family will hold a private memorial service for Betty at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims funeral Home.
