She had been a resident of Altus/Martha for the last 8 years, moving here form Paris, Texas.
Funeral services for Bertie Leona Green are scheduled for March 3, 1965 at the Church of God in Altus, Oklahoma at 10:00am officiated by Rev. H.L. Holman. Burial will follow in the Detroit Cemetery, Detroit, Texas under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Bertie Leora Green is survived by her husband Willie of the home; one daughter, Mary Ann Freeman, Houston, Texas; two sons, William L. Green, Idabelle, Oklahoma; Billy R. Idabelle, Oklahoma; one brother Jess Kelley, Elmer, Oklahoma; four sisters, Bonnie Flores, Houston, Texas; Annie McHam Sawyer, Oklahoma; Elta Green, Long View, Texas; Mary Belle Fredericks, Long View, Texas; five grandchildren.
