Obituary for Berthelle Coe
Berthelle McCormick Coe was born in Altus, Oklahoma. She died October 7th, 1992 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Lonnie Ross Coe August 1, 1941 at Walters, OK and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was a lifelong resident of Altus and Jackson County. She had been a nurse at Jackson County Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and of the First United Methodist Church. She had attended Porter High and was the daughter of J. O. and Ester McCormick.
Services are scheduled for 2 P.M., Friday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Sonny Tims officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Lonnie Ross Coe (1987); her parents, J.O. and Ester McCormick; one sister, Eunice McCormick.
Survivors include: two children, Sherri Knight of Altus, Oklahoma and Marion Cary of Duncan, OK; three sisters, Winnie Kidd of Elmer, OK, Gladys O'Neal of Altus, OK and Betty St. Dizier of Amarillo, TX; two grandchildren, Keith Knight of Enid, OK and Scott Cary of Duncan, OK; two great-grandchildren, William Knight and Kyle Knight of Enid, OK.
