Obituary for Bernard Bryant
It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the passing of Bernard Bryant of Altus Oklahoma, who passed January 5th, 2018. Bernard was 83 years young at the time of his death.

Bernard was born in Kentucky on October 10th, 1934 he relocated with his parents, sisters and brother to Oklahoma. As a young man he graduated high school, enlisted in the Air Force and just before leaving for basic training he met Sue. Upon completing basic training he returned to Midwest City Oklahoma and married Sue on November 1st, 1954. They were best friends and husband and wife for 56 years. He proudly served in the Air Force for 26 years.

His whole life was a beautiful journey and he traveled the world both during his time in the Air Force and after in his retirement. Bernie and Sue went on 21 cruises from the Panama Canal to Alaska. He never passed an opportunity to visit family in Arizona, Minnesota and Nevada. He explored the Vatican at the age of 78 and marveled as he walked on 2,000-year-old Roman streets. His passion for life was immeasurable.

Bernard, Bernie, Dad, Gramps and Pop was a man of deep faith and unconditional love for God and family. He loved deeply, smiled often, cracked Dad jokes, recited poetry, sang beautifully. He touched the lives of those he loved and those he knew in profound ways. He was endlessly kind and generous and we will be forever grateful for the gift of him. We are better for having known him. He was loved by so many.

Bernie has been joyously reunited in Heaven with his loving wife Sue, their beautiful daughter Terry, his sister Georgia Carol and his brother Tom. He is survived by his children Boyd, his wife Tami and their two daughters Trina, her husband Brandon and Christina and Clint of Henderson Nevada. His daughter Kim and her husband Bob of Altus Oklahoma, her daughter Rosalynd and her husband Ty, their two children Riley and Evan of Indiana, Brian Bryant and his children Lillian and Hunter of Minnesota. His daughter Judy and her husband Terry, their children Andy and his wife Krista, their children Ethan, Kaelyn and Kamryn and Johnny and fianc" Hailey of Tucson Arizona. His daughter Leslie and her children Christopher, his wife Abby, Jeffrey and Nadia and his children JJ and Ariana and Michael and Rohini and his sister Janet Good of Arizona as well as many other members of family and friends.
