Obituary for Ben J. Chambers
Mr. Ben Chambers, age 81, of 519 W. Commerce died at 10:30 A.M., Saturday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Monday at Lowell Memorial Chapel with Gary Colley officiating. Burial will be in Olustee Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born April 24th, 1889 at Jim Fields Ranch, Texas, he was married in 1911 to the former Maggie Thrash near Olustee and was a retired farmer from that area. He was one of the first members of the old Willow Vale Church of Christ and was currently a member of Hudson & Elm Church of Christ.

Survivors include: his wife, Maggie of the home; two sons, Alvin and Kenneth of Altus; three daughters, Mrs. Juanita Lovett of Altus, Mrs. Dorothy ware of Hess and Mrs. Etta Jean Gray of Port Arthur, TX; one brother, Mr. George Chambers of Dallas, TX; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
