Bascom Z. Ward


Bascom Z. Ward was born December 24th, 1915 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert Lee and Lura Benton Ward. He lived fifteen years in Alamogordo, New Mexico and the last for years in Granite, Oklahoma with his mother,. He was a retired Civil Service Worker and served his country during World War II, He was member of the V. F. W.

Bascom passed away Saturday, November 18th, 1967 in Granite, Oklahoma Service for Mr. Ward are scheduled for Monday, November 20, 1967 at Tims Chapel of Memories With Rev. C. L. Abercumbie officiating. Burial will follow at the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Ward is survived by his mother Lura Ward of Granite, Oklahoma, three brothers: Benton Ward of Altus, Oklahoma, Carl Ward of Alamogordo, New Mexico and John Ward of Vietnam, formerly of El Paso, Texas..
