Autherine Marshall, 65, of Lawton, Ok, passed away on March 26, 2022, after a prolonged illness.
She was born on May 11, 1956 in Pickens, Arkansas to the late Samuel and Teresia Gilmore. Autherine grew up with nine siblings, four preceded her in death.
Autherine married Warren Marshall in 1977 and two children were born to this union. Autherine professed her life to Christ at an early age and cherished praising the Lord. As an Army Veteran she served several years in the military before devoting her time as a homemaker and raising her children.
Autherine loved to read her bible and pray for others. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband of 44 years, Warren Marshall; two children: Joseph Marshall of Lawton, OK and Mellonie Rankins (Dennis) of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; one brother: Melvin Gilmore (Renee) of Kansas City, MO; four sisters: Dixie Corbin (Ike) of Dumas, AR; Ethel Parker of Dermott, AR; Dorothy Gilmore of Chattanooga, TN; and Flossie Lacy (Michael) of Chattanooga, TN; two grandchildren: Trevor and Gabriella Rankins; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
