Audrey Mae Combs, 80, died Tuesday August 24, 1993 in the English Village Nursing Home following a long illness.
Services have been scheduled for 10:00am Thursday, August 26, 1991 at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. combs was born July 15, 1913 in Clifton, Texas to E.T. and Sallie Carpenter. She moved to this area as a young lady and married George Combs in Olustee on October 25, 1932. He preceded her in death. She moved to Altus in 1955 where she was an active member of the First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Combs name to the Music Ministry or to the Hospitality Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include children; Bobby Combs and Joyce of Houston, Texas; Janice Niznik and Johnny of San Antonio, Texas; brother L.C. Carpenter, seven grandchildren; David Combs of Houston, Texas; Jenny Combs of hunt, Texas; Julie Combs of Houston, Texas; Larry Niznik and Gwen of Altus, Oklahoma; Jerry Niznik and Cheryl of San Antonio, Texas; John Paul Niznik and Chris of San Antonio, Texas; Michael Niznik of San Antonio, Texas; five great-grandchildren; Alicia and Morgen Niznik of Altus, Oklahoma ; Heather, Justin and Brandon Niznik of Antonio, Texas.
Preceded in death by husband, George Combs, parents, one brother and five sisters.
