Obituary for Arthur Ray Ewing
Arthur Ray Ewing age 77, of Altus, Oklahoma died October 21, 1967 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. He was born January 12, 1892 at Navajoe, Oklahoma to A. N. and Cinderilla (Grimes) Ewing. He married Bessie, she preceded him in death September 18, 1966. He had lived in Southwest Oklahoma all of his life. He was a retired farmer, member of the American Legion and veteran of World War I.
Funeral services for Arthur Ray Ewing are scheduled for October 23, 1967 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Altus cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Arthur Ray Ewing is survived by his son, J. R. Ewing, Altus, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; Claude of Elk City, Oklahoma; Burnice, Headrick, Oklahoma; Mrs. Wardie Hammond, Altus, Oklahoma ; Mrs. Jessie Chapman, Mesa, Arizona; Mrs. Ida Hart, Mesa Arizona; Mrs Ethel Mitchell, Blair, Oklahoma.
