Aristeo Eddie Soliz, Sr., age 62, of Martha, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, at his residence, in Martha.
Mr. Soliz was born in Edinburg, Texas on December 15, 1954, to Pedro and Gerardo (Luebano) Solis. As a child, Eddie moved to Oklahoma where he attended school and lived in Gould, Eldorado and Altus. In 1996, Eddie moved to Martha, where he lived until his death. A hard worker all of his life, Eddie had worked for Lynn, Mike and Kerry Brown for nearly forty years. Spending time on the tractor and irrigating was a way of life. In his younger days, Eddie enjoyed skating and fishing. He was always listening to music and ready to grill out while spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parent; one son, Richard A. Soliz and one granddaughter, Rosetta Soliz, he is survived by two children, Eddie Soliz, Jr., and wife Nanett of Martha and Sissie Feazel and husband Travis of Altus; four grandchildren, Madison Soliz, Levi Feazel, Chad Feazel and Easton Feazel; two sisters, Emma Bohrmann of Illinois and Anna Chambers of Altus; one brother, Pedro Soliz, Jr., of Altus along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Aristeo Eddie Soliz will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Martha Road Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Baker officiating.
