Obituary for Anna Laura Nucci
Anna Laura (Hayes) Nucci, was born April 24, 1931 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Harry & Viza Noel (Fry) Hayes. She died February 10, 2002 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Anna Laura married Louis Nucci, Sr. November 4, 1951 in Altus, Oklahoma. To this union was born five children, all who graduated from Altus High school and three who graduated from WOSC.
Anna Laura Nucci spent most of her life in Altus and Jackson County. She served as Assistant Librarian at Altus High School for 30 years. She was a long time member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ where she was very active with the Thomas Street Choir. Her hobbies included, music, travel, her grandchildren's programs and sports activities, family genealogy and photography. She lived by her motto, There's no place like home, and that's Altus, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband Louis Nucci Sr. of Altus, Oklahoma, five children, Anita Marshall and Rick of Altus, Oklahoma, Louis V. Nucci Jr. of Red Springs, North Carolina, Viza Haley and Will of Carter, Oklahoma, Robert Nucci and Tammy of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Laurie Warren and Bob of Altus, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren; Melissa Haley Gray and husband Heath, Amy Nucci, Billy Haley, Phillip Marshall, Brodee Nucci, Ryan Warren, Andrew Marshall, Carmella Nucci, Jake Warren, Bradyn Nucci, Laurel Warren, and Rachelle Nucci.
Services for Anna Laura Nucci are scheduled for 10 am Thursday, February 13, 2003 at the Thomas Street Church of Christ with Hans Oehlert and Bill Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
The family of Anna Laura Nucci, will greet friends at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home on Wednesday February 12, 2003 from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
