Anna B. Goforth, 74, of Elmer died at her home Wednesday morning, August 14, 1991.
Services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday August 17, 1991 at the 1st Assembly of God with Rev. Carl McCoy and Rev. Richard Ventonis officiating under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Born May 15, 1917 in Francis, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Charles and Francis Baker. She married Ernest Goforth May 18, 1934 at Darwin, Oklahoma and they have been residence of Jackson County since 1952 after moving from Soper, Oklahoma. She was a Sunday School teacher for 30 years at the First Assembly of God Church and was active in Womens Ministries for several years. She was also a member of the Extension Homemaker Club of Elmer.
Survivors include her husband Ernest J. Goforth of Elmer, Oklahoma; children, Donald Goforth, Cleburne, Texas; troy Goforth, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Glen Goforth, Altus, Oklahoma; Jeneta Potts, Fort Worth, Texas; Phyllis Stevens, Elmer, Oklahoma; Marcia Fatkin, Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Eual Baker, Ada, Oklahoma; Aubrey baker, Ada, Oklahoma; sisters, Jay Cariker, Gainesville, Texas; Dora Roseberry, Ada, Oklahoma; Bertha Young, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Fannie Lange, Cole City, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her mother and father, son, Harold Goforth.
