Obituary for Ann Diltz Offord
Marjorie Ann Diltz, 76 passed away in Longview, on Thursday, July 15, 1999. she was born October 4, 1922, in Duke, Oklahoma to the late Howard and Ruby Pearl (Etheridge) Offord.
On April 27, 1946, she and Arthur H. Diltz were united in marriage in Quanah, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1980. She also preceded in death by her firs husband, Dennison Nall, who died in 1944 during World War II.
Marjorie had been living in Longview for the last 19 years. prior to that she resided in Dallas, Texas, for 23 years.
She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. She loved to crochet, was a wonderful cook, and was greatly devoted to her family.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm, Monday, July, 1999, at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
family will hve visitation Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include two children, Mike Diltz and his wife, Darha, of Longview, Texas and Susan Willis and her husband, Chuck, of Dallas, Texas. One sister, Nancy Carder and her husband, Jimmy of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Diltz; one sister, Melba McAnallen in 1990; one son, Steve Diltz in 1999.
