Angelika Everette
Angelika Everette, age 58 of Altus, Oklahoma and formerly of Germany, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her home in Altus. Angela was born in Germany on June 11, 1959 and has been a resident of Altus for many years.
Angela loved to work in the public; she worked at OK-1, Ye Ole Donuts, Dollar General in Altus. In her own words (I love people, love to work, and love to work with people).
Angelika was a Devout Catholic, when unable to get a ride to the Mass, liked to attend the Emmanuel Baptist Church, which was a short walk from her house. Angela was born in Germany, and was raised in a Catholic School until she was 18, this was something she often talked about. She tried to practice her faith daily. She loved angles, praying hands, crosses and pictures of Jesus.
Angela loved to go to Stage and Walgreens almost daily when she was able, taking advantage of the sales. She loved taking pictures of nature, butterflies, bids and her home-grown flowers. She was also fond of owls and elephants.
Angels glowed when talking about the time she spent with her, Bully Baby, Montana Fraley and how she helped to raise him. She was his Nana and talked about him as her own.
Angela was loved by many, including Eileen Cofield and Billy Smith that were both with her daily in her last days, Dell, Julie, Terry, Jack Chris Mrs. Katy, Sandy and I am sure others we are failing to name.
There will be a celebration of life service at a later date. A special thank you to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home for their help and kindness during this difficult time.
