Obituary for Alma May Owen
Mrs. Alma May Owen, age 62, of Altus, OK, died on Monday, April 21st, 1968 at Fort Supply.
Funeral services will be held at Tims Chapel, Thursday, April 25, 1968, 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend C.L. Abercrombie officiating and assisted by the Reverend Bill Davis. Burial will be in the Tipton Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Owen was married to John Owen on August 30, 1965 and had lived in the Altus area for six years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by: three sons, Leroy of Valley Center, CA, Howard of Henrietta, OK and John William of Ft. Worth, TX; four daughters, Mrs. W. D. Duck of Altus, Mrs. Daniel Bacca of El Monte, CA, Mrs. Larry Clinton of Ponca City, OK and Mrs. Dale Tilton of Texarkana, AR; two brothers, Arthur Stearman of California and Ray Stearman of Stillwater, OK; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Bateson of Arkansas City, KS; 19 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Ralph, in 1959.
