Alice Murphy 89, passed away January 13, 1964 in the Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born April 8, 1874 in Stephenville, Texas. She married Lee Murphy, he preceded her in death August 1940. She had lived in Olustee for more than 50 years.
Funeral Services for Alice Murphy are scheduled for January 16, 1964 at the Church of Christ in Olustee with Bill Osborne and John McClearen officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by nieces, Mrs. E.M. Trammell, Henrietta, Oklahoma; Mrs. Daisy Eubank, Henrietta, Oklahoma; Mrs. Clede Cunningham, Okmlugee, Oklahoma; nephews, Edgar Looney, Henrietta, Oklahoma; J.R. Looney, Greenfield, California; sisters, Mrs. Blanche Berger, Hico, Texas; Mrs. Addie Pipes, Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. Lena ?Cornell, Hale Center, Texas.
