Alfred Lee Nash
Alfred Lee Nash age 70, of Altus, Oklahoma was born December 15, 1924, at Fort Towsen, Oklahoma, the son of the late Butler G. and Minnie Alice "Stephens' Nash. He was a longtime Jackson County resident. Mr. Nash passed away Friday November 17, 1995, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Monday, November 20, 1995, in the Lowell-Tims funeral Home Chapel with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. On June 16, 1947, he and Thyra Loretta Smith were united in marriage at Vernon, Texas. Mr. Nash was a retired farmer.
Survivors include spouse, Thyra Loretta Nash of the home, children, Retta Edwards and husband Stacy of Altus, Oklahoma; Lynn Nash and wife Rhonda of Purcell, Oklahoma; Jimmy Nasha and wife Jo of Altus, Oklahoma; Roger Nash and wife Keri of Humphreys, Oklahoma; Theda Williams and husband Tim of Altus, Oklahoma; brothers, Bill Brown of Purcell, Oklahoma; J.C. Brown of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma; sisters, Mildred Gipson of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; Pauline Eitel of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Thelma; nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Preceded in death by parents; two sons, Grady and James Nash; grandson; Robert Allen Kendell; an three brothers.
